Hi CG,
It is a beauty isn't it? This is the first time I've had it bloom, and in fact today a second flower opened on the same plant.

Wow! As usual you provide wonderful inspiration. I tried this plant in the garden last year and managed to kill it through sheer ignorance. Had lately concluded I should start over again in a pot....and here's your post.

Great name! Especially when you consider what a dandy this plant is (having a flower 3 times the size of the stem and leaves put together)

Didn't know you grew this Lewisia! It's lovely. This is a more difficult Lewisia to keep and grow.

Hi Laura,

Not sure if my success with this is due to the fact that I'm able to Winter it over in the greenhouse? However, I'm feeling very happy to see it in bloom.

Hi Jonas,

Who is this Tweedy anyway? I hope he lives up to his name and is clad in a bespoke jacket.

Hi Erika,

I can only say that the Goddess of Flora was looking down on me for this one.
